Rohan was forged in a single act of gratitude: when Eorl the Young rode south unlooked-for and saved Gondor at the Field of Celebrant, the Steward granted him the whole land, and the Oath of Eorl bound the two realms for ever. The Rohirrim build in timber and thatch, not stone — carved halls with horse-head gables, modelled on the Anglo-Saxons of old England — and our builds follow that thread, from the thatched streets of Aldburg to the one great stone anomaly at Helm's Deep. This is where EpicQuestz began, and where most of our work stands today.
