Middle-Earth for All
EpicQuestz was established in 2011 by three builders who loved two things equally: Tolkien's Middle-Earth and Minecraft. What began as a handful of friends raising walls together has grown into a build team spanning years, servers and hundreds of contributors.
Our purpose has never changed: to bring Middle-Earth to the Minecraft community — researched, hand-built, and free for everyone. Every completed map is released for download. No paywalls, no locked content; the road goes ever on, and it is open.
Today our flagship is the Rohan Project — the whole of the Riddermark in one continuous map — alongside works in Gondor, Eriador and beyond. Visit the server to watch the next city rise, or pick up a pickaxe yourself.
How we build
Every settlement starts with research — maps, the books, medieval references, even Swiss villages. A blockout stakes the footprint, then years of passes layer in streets, interiors and landscape until the place feels lived-in. Our guides collect the craft our builders have learned along the way.
